Late Application: A processing fee of $150 will apply for applications received after July 1, 2015.
Cancellation: All camp deposits are non-refundable; cancellations made once final payments are received (June 25, 2015)will forfeit camp deposit, plus a $75 processing fee.

CAMP PROGRAM OPTIONS
Ensemble Track: Two harp ensembles are offered at CVHI for students at varied levels of study. Students interested in Harp Ensemble Track must possess music-reading ability. A minimum of 1 or more years of private harp study is recommended but not required. Ensemble music will be sent in the mail for preparation ahead of arrival at camp. All students must be 12 years of age or older. Solo Track: Students who wish to have 2 or more hours of practice per day may select Solo Track, and should have at least one solo work well in progress at the time of their arrival at CVHI, for performance at the end of the week. Solo Track students will also prepare one or more orchestral excerpt of their own choosing, and one to be assigned by CVHI. Combined Track is recommended for the highly motivated student who desires practice time on a prepared solo piece, the study of one or more orchestral excerpts, and participation in one or more ensemble pieces. **Our New Honors Ensemble Program:**Work in a small group dedicated to advanced harp ensemble repertoire, with advanced coaching, with required mini-recital/Master Class presentation during camp week. Students must apply and be accepted into the Honors Harp Ensemble Program.

Students are required to bring their own harps (a limited number of rental pedal and/or lever harps may be available; please contact CVHI for more information). Harps will be housed in the campus library, which is locked each evening.

Once the application process is complete, all campers will receive instructions on what to pack, medical forms to complete and return, ensemble music (for Solo, Combined and Honors Ensemble Tracks), and a schedule for the week, along with guidelines for your stay. Music for Harp Ensemble Trackers and orchestral excerpts for Solo and Combined Tracks should be prepared ahead of time. Solo Trackers should plan to arrive with their chosen solo, chamber or orchestral repertoire or concerto well in progress to allow for maximum learning experience in their private lessons, and a well-prepared program for the final concert.
